WOW!! What beautiful artwork. Thank you for sharing. I saw many villages as I traveled through Canada to drive to Alaska. The stories and designs and culture are absolutely magnificent.
The Adzes were interesting – looks like giant scorps fastened onto a traditional handle. It’s interesting that there is not a commercial equivalent, given that the adze eliminates need for a mallet. The design process was interesting, too. And the finished replication poles look like they might not have a finish except paint? Also interesting.
