    Salmon in most restaurants has been overcooked. I have caught and eaten a lot of salmon living in both South Central and South Eastern Alaska.

    The trick to perfect salmon is to dump a bunch of maple syrup in your pan, heat it up and place your salmon. Add salt and pepper then turn it, serv it over rice and add some of the maple syrup that’s still in the pan on the rice

    Every restaurant I worked at used a broiler. Get them grill marks with a blackened seasoning, rosemary butter. Otherwise salmon is easy and can be cooked like 50 different ways

    Salmon aleays tastes better at home because I was learned how to cook it in a three michelin starred restaurant. The method in this short is okay, but it can be improved in approx. 27 ways.
