Real Reason the United States Bought Alaska from Russia

Real Reason the United States Bought Alaska from Russia

Buying Alaska was the biggest mistake ever! A disaster that cost the equivalent of $150 million today for a whole lot of empty nothingness. It was a folly on a monumental scale. That is until Alaska was found to be a natural wonderland teeming with natural resources. But if no one knew how valuable Alaska would be, why did the United States purchase it for such a high price? And did people at the time really think it was such a colossal blunder? Today we’re looking at the real reason why the US Bought Alaska from Russia.

This is a good video but unless I missed it. The video never said why the US bought Alaska. It was hinted at a couple of times but never stated out right.

So why did US buy Alaska? No answer to that

The sealevel does not rise or go lower either. The oceanswater falls down into the Artesian ocean through the canals in the far east and west and comes back filtered via mountainstreams, rivers and lowlandaquifiers. The aire is being cleaned to via the prismsky above the earth.

I really enjoyed your video, but it would’ve been better if you paid attention to pronunciation of some things a bit better. For instance, Crimea is pronounced CRY-Mea.

The woods of Alaska and Siberia are the same kind of soft wood forests,so it makes lots of sense to say the land separated.
Alaska had grizzlies and Russia has tigers but Siberia is a lot bigger than Alaska .

Alaska should have Ben bought by Canada but he country was recently made diverting 1867 and would not have Been able to purchase any more land. But since many of the Inuit were originally from Russia they would be related to the residents of Alaska.

Odd fact most people don’t know. Everyone thinks indigenous people used dog sleds before Europeans can, but they didn’t use dog sleds till Europeans arrived. Then in the villages moved to Snow Machines and ATV’s. Also Many Indigenous people didn’t grow up in towns and were spread throughout the land. Americans kind of forced the settlements for ease of education and transports. Native life is pretty amazing, but ever evolving…

These buying of countries is a private company scam it seemed to of happened in many places and countries and the European Nazi regime was also removed from power. I wonder why people where trying to sell countries and provinces when they are already owned by myself with all the Governments as my Witness and proof. The scams of the white people are being identified with programs to hire people in Government then making the government pay for these idiotic deals. It was a total scam.

Wait a minute. Native Americans first inhabited Alaska 12000 years ago when they crossed the land bridge. They were from Siberia which is in Eastern Russia making them Asians. That might not have been the Country of Russia back then but they’re still Russians. I guess they mean it wasn’t owned by Russia until Russia became a Country. I guess the same applies to the Bahamas which are owned by England. You can buy America, but you can’t take it out of America.

I lived in an Alaskan native village and they held their heads high and preferred to be called Eskimos. I think it’s a white cultural thing not to call them Eskimos. They always said they were Eskimos and were proud of it, never heard one not say they were an Eskimo. They’re proud of who they are. Great people. I lived in the village for 6 years and wish I stayed longer…

The U.S. purchased Alaska from Russia in 1867. The treaty was signed on March 30, 1867, and the formal transfer took place on October 18, 1867. The purchase price was $7.2 million, roughly 2 cents per acre.

I know that people walked from Russia to the Americas, but they didn’t need a land bridge to do it. Further, it is really ridiculous to ignore the existence of boats. Have you heard of the Pacific Islanders? Anyone? Were there land bridges to those too, lol?

They cut the amount of oil tax the govt. collects in 2011. Then let the oil companies keep the extra and in the last 14 years we’ve struggled with our funding. Amazing how people would vote to give the oil companies more and take money out of their own pockets. Definitely a sign people don’t understand money. Just giving the resources out…. Citizens get taxed more and companies get taxed less. I’m all for it if they aren’t using the states natural resources for their own economic gain…
