THULE presents the first tent in the market mounted on a hitch ball. The upside to a rooftop tent? When camping, no need to fold down the tent before you can use your vehicle! Just roll it out. The THULE “Outset” will be available to order in Spring 2024.
The tent was announced in Germany and sells for approximately $4,300 USD. It weighs around 154 lbs.

I don’t understand car campers. As a life long thru hiker and backpacker I know the ultralight tents are not for everyone but when I car camp I take my 300 dollar Decathlon tent that’s just as big as this one and packs down so small it fits in the foot area behind the drivers seat.
