Meet the skateboarder behind some of Anchorage's most famous wall art | INDIE ALASKA

Since he was young, Ted Kim dedicated his life to skateboarding and making skateboarding movies – spending almost every day and night perfecting his craft. But at 25, a serious skateboarding injury left him feeling lost, and wondering if he would ever skate again. It was then he turned to art as a way of healing. From there, a new passion blossomed, inspiring him to work with murals. Using paint, pencils, and even Sharpie.

Been a big fan of this guy since I found his youtube video "a Drawing" about 10 years ago. I’ve got a few prints of his on my wall, but I haven’t made it to Anchorage yet. Soon, one day.
