I noticed you wear glasses, so may i ask if there any brand of eye protecter i can use for glasses? Thank you very much.

You’re out of luck with the customer for this table). He probably didn’t understand that this is not a stupid product, but this product is comparable to art. Bravo, I take my hat off to you. The table is perfection itself.

  3. @machoopichoo2 on August 10, 2025 at 7:53 pm

The bowtie comment is dumb and is a knee-jerk reaction to knowing about exposed bowties. I love being able to see the remnants of the temporary "clamps" here in an "Easter egg" way. It speaks to the craft of making the table and gives hints to how it was done.

    Beautiful ❤

Very sleek slender modern mid century live edge stunner.most woodworkers are critical of their selfs but that’s the way to get perfection.after all it’s hard work being a perfectionist but you my friend have no worries there .even if you do use a cnc machine lol
    Awesome build dude

Fascinated by your work and the price tags (obviously 100% justified) I was wondering what are like the cheapest pieces/ smallest orders you have gotten or are willing to do?

  7. @FriendsWoodMaster on August 10, 2025 at 7:58 pm

    Good work 👍👍

Bona fide Visual Artist here: I earned the honor to use such a lofty title through the certification and accreditation of my education about the very subject which I received in my most formative years struggling through the rigors of a homeschooled education. Fortunately, I was yet a fully overgrown adolescent by the time I was able to wade through those murky, viscous waters. I was also mature enough by that time to be able to withstand the rigors and emotional traumas endured by the sometimes scathing critiques that came at the hands of a cruel and demoralizing professor; Yet I had only myself to blame in this instance because not only was I an eager yet defiant student, I was also simultaneously that very same heart-hardened professor.

Some may not consider the education received through the schooling of the autodidact to be a very worthwhile or convincing credential, especially on the occasions when said alumni is asked to furnish the contact information of any would-be references, and then having to resort to filling in those spaces with one’s own contact information. So, whether you should decide to acknowledge the legitimacy of my ability to function as any kind of authority on the evaluation of what is, or what is not, an objectively fine piece of stunning visual art and creation, will probably be rooted, more subjectively, in just how ridiculous these credentials sound to you.

That being said, and assuming the best, I believe that one of the best tools that I developed throughout the tenure of my education, which has actually extended into the subsequent thirty-some-odd years that I have devoted to putting such scholarship into practice, as a Visual Artiste’, HAS blessed me with quite a discerning eye for what it is that makes good art. And even though I was initially inclined to have been unreasonably prejudiced against you in my estimations of what type of work a goofy looking chap like yourself would have turned out, the actual results of your labors have confirmed for me how big of an asshole I have the ability to be to have even considered such a thought, and the proof is in the pudding… Er, uh, I mean …the table. And yes what a truly stunning work of design, ART and engineering that you have created that has become this table, which, surely could ALSO be stamped as "bona fide," …and on BOTH sides, as it were!

*Translation into "hood-speak" for those that were born after the year 2005 and don’t yet understand much English or just weren’t sure at all about what I have just said:

Yo’, dat’ table is FIRE, Gee! Game recognize game… an’ thaz’ real talk Fam’.

I do believe custom, well-built furniture like yours will be centuries down the road. Not 20 years.

  11. @BariumCobaltNitrog3n on August 10, 2025 at 8:05 pm

So did they buy the table or no? The end might have been a joke

  16. @machoopichoo2 on August 10, 2025 at 8:09 pm

If all of the purveyors (respectfully) of live edge furniture don’t clearly reference George Nakashima as the OG of this approach, it is nearly criminal.

  17. @jacobhounshell7098 on August 10, 2025 at 8:11 pm

What is the black "glue" hole filling stick he uses here at 24:51?

  18. @machoopichoo2 on August 10, 2025 at 8:12 pm

Minimal epoxy is minimal 🙂, beautiful, and subtle. To kind of illiterate.

i hate my trypophobia cause i always go, this one will be fine and satisfying, and it never is

  29. @clstubbs on August 10, 2025 at 8:25 pm

First off, I’m here for the graphics – I love a good visualization, 3D render, or even some napkin scribbles. I enjoy hearing about the process. Second, lots of woodworkers whose content I watch list tools, large equipment, etc. they use, which can be helpful – but as someone who already has decent/quality tools, I’m now wondering about all of the little detail items that are used. I’m finding that those not only make the project (as you consistently mention) but they also improve the workflow. Case in point – specifically what glue/hot melt sticks are you using? After some Google action, I ordered some black glue sticks to use to fill some smaller voids – they did not sand well at all. More Google pointed me towards things that were expensive for a hobbyist, or in volumes I wouldn’t use in five lifetimes. Eventually I found some that Cam from Blacktail studio linked at one point, ordered them, and they worked great. Same for threaded inserts – I’ve made the mistake of using cheap ones and it almost ruined a piece for me. Would you be willing to share some of those types of items in more detail, along with the little things that you feel make your workflow more tolerable/easier?

I would like to purchase the template of legs, beautiful work.

  43. @deimosphob on August 10, 2025 at 8:39 pm

Why not try and get more creative to try and make a pill table that better suits your artistic requirements. Just use the round table top as the center of the pill or even make the pill extend from one side of the round table, maybe do 3 legs with extendable rollers and a track system on top, hide the tops in the legs towards the top of the table. There’s many ways to make a table in your artistic requirements, it just takes more time and complexity and maybe cost. But that’s where you can raise the cost and therefore the profit.

  44. @DarkQuaz on August 10, 2025 at 8:41 pm

I most definitely have trypophobia… Thanks for that.

  45. @david6ravy on August 10, 2025 at 8:41 pm

There are several reasons I probably couldn’t do what you do, but the one that stands out is that if I made this table I wouldn’t want to let it go.

  46. @ryanhoffmann9341 on August 10, 2025 at 8:42 pm

  49. @scotteramsey on August 10, 2025 at 8:48 pm

In your explanation of costs you don’t mention mark-up on the materials, equipment and labor. Do you do that for overhead and profit? You should if you don’t.
