Thank you! I’m learning how to sew and this is a great tutorial! Do you have one on how to make an envelope pillow? I will look through your videos. Thanks😊

I really wanted to see you see the pillow. You said you didn’t show it because it’s very simple. It’s not very simple to us beginners that’s why we’re here.🤷🏽‍♀️

I enjoy watching your videos for entertainment and learning to sew and to relax your videos are great but I have a question and that is Do you have a video on how to make shorts possibly elastic waist maybe basketball shorts some people use to relax in front of the tv on the weekend and a how to video on making cargo shorts

  5. @ladylibbith on July 23, 2025 at 6:44 pm

I watched this for 10 minutes to get to the part that I wanted to see of the last opening being stitched by the machine and you said it’s pretty simple, be right back and then it was already done 😭 I guess I’ll wing it if it’s that simple. First time ever using a sewing machine!

  6. @historydegree2013 on July 23, 2025 at 6:46 pm

Does the same process work for any size pillow? Like a king size or something?

  7. @kdinkc on July 23, 2025 at 6:47 pm

This is great! I have a hard time maintaining focus during instructional videos for the skills I want to learn. Yes, it’s an ADHD thing lol.

Also, I think it’s because crafts and sewing videos are mostly done by women and for some reason my brain responds to the male voice and the deeper the better. Woodworking has been relatively easy to learn because there’s no shortage of videos on that produced by men.

So glad to see you back! I really love your videos and appreciate you sharing the knowledge! One of these days, I’m going to go out and get my first sewing machine!

I just found your channel recently and was bummed to see you had stopped (fully supported it – this stuff is so much work – just, also bummed!) and went to your other pages to make sure you were okay.

I resigned myself to just your old videos – but lo and behold, you have returned!!

I hope the time away was great, and that coming back is also great.
Thanks for all your hard work.

  18. @shaneannconnell8022 on July 23, 2025 at 7:07 pm

The title is misleading. It shows you how to make a pillowcase not a pillow.

  19. @Crochetcabin-s8g on July 23, 2025 at 7:08 pm

    Do you sell these?

  32. @Dr_Bombay on July 23, 2025 at 7:19 pm

i have lots of old concert t-shirts i was thinking of making into pillow covers, but you mention NOT using something too stretchy. is it still worth trying if i can make some sort of allowance for the stretchiness?

  33. @debbiewhite3270 on July 23, 2025 at 7:20 pm

Yes, I watched to the end. I think it would be great on a bag. TY for showing me something I didn’t even know existed. Happy New year!

  36. @chasitystaggs6699 on July 23, 2025 at 7:23 pm

I have would you be able to make a video on how to thread a bobbin in a brother sewing machine where it won’t get tangled up in the housing for the bobbing please

  37. @moonsofourmother2815 on July 23, 2025 at 7:23 pm

Why didn’t you cut right to the edges of the fabric. You seem to have alot of fabric wastage?

  38. @okletsgetoutofhere on July 23, 2025 at 7:26 pm

7:45 If anyone has difficulty with this step, I bet you could stuff the pillow into a plastic cylinder and then push through the cylinder to insert it into the case.

  39. @ariccamburn2170 on July 23, 2025 at 7:26 pm

Hey Tock, I’m new to sewing. Would love to see something on sewing using elastic such as waistband or for leg closure for sweats or something. Keep up the good work!

The FBI is coming for all of you pillow makers. Youre a threat to their "DEMOCRACY."

  47. @frenchy2140 on July 23, 2025 at 7:33 pm

Tock, I just got a sewing machine recently just for hemming the pants of my gi pants for jiu-jitsu (I’m big but short so they are all too long and I got tired of paying for tailors to do it). Your channel was really helpful as a full beginner to sewing. And now I’m going to be doing more sewing since I have found even doing hems enjoyable. This pillow will probably be my first actual project. What are some other good projects for someone new to sewing? Things that area a little more challenging and help you develop and improve other key sewing skills? Thank you for your content.

  48. @adambaggins on July 23, 2025 at 7:38 pm
