How To Refine Alaskan Placer Gold With Bleach and Hydrochloric Acid Part 1of2

To contribute: https://paypal.me/sreetips?locale.x=en_US

Refining Alaskan Placer gold with bleach and hydrochloric acid. I’ll make seperate video to demonstrate how to get the rest of the pure gold from the 5.8 grams that I could not get to go into solution. Then I’ll combine the two yields for a total yield from the 10.3 grams of placer gold.

    Thank you for this video.
In researching a process, I tend to refer to your videos last since you’re great at explaining things.
This makes a lot more sense now

The muriatic acid I’ve bought recently says it’s green, and a better type, making less fumes, apparently a mix of different acids, I need to look for the ingredients and see what it says, and probably should have before this comment, but do you anything about this subject?

@sreetips your the king of gold
    Thank..
    Last question lol
You said the Alaskan placer gold ot about 90-95 purity gold and you start the experiment whit 9.8 of Alaskan gold
So way in this method you only get 3.5? something like this. .
You lost 6.3 gram in this solution? It normal ? And what the butter way to aqua regia whit bleach or nitric ? Thank you so much ..

ty for your excellent video, can we use zinc to precipitate gold in this experiment? Ty
    for your respond in advance.

  15. @raxtor3199 on October 30, 2025 at 12:21 am

You can use H2SO4 instead of HCl… its too fast but has so dangerous gas

  16. @RobinSoto-i9n on October 30, 2025 at 12:22 am

Can I use bleach and hcl with inquarted.

Have you tried this in a contained environment. Holding the gases in? With no heat?

  22. @עמיתמיגרלשווילי on October 30, 2025 at 12:26 am

Hi bro firs thanks for your great work ❤
I have a question in this solution i can use sodium hydroxide or only SMB ?
And if i do aqua rigia whit HN30 & HCL its ok to pricipited gold whit sodium hydroxide? Thnk you

HEY.. ON YOUR 2ND PART OF YOUR VIDEOS YOU DIDNT FINISH WITH BLEACH? YOU JUMPED STRIGHT TO NITRIC ACID

  24. @fullinvestigation8233 on October 30, 2025 at 12:28 am

I’m trying this and I noticed if you put bleach first onto the placer gold and then put a shot of acid i get a better reaction.

  25. @luisbrigantti2496 on October 30, 2025 at 12:28 am

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I finally had my first successful e-waste drop. Im so happy. I couldn’t have done it without you.

  26. @veronika8287 on October 30, 2025 at 12:28 am

You listed the stannous recipe several times, ty for that, are the ingredients easy to purchase?

  27. @mt-wl6oh on October 30, 2025 at 12:29 am

Do not refine placer gold if you dont have ICP-OES etc…
placer gold may contain about 1% Hg.
    Cause a mercury poisoning.

*Placer gold must be heated to at least 600°C to vaporize the mercury before you dissolve it.

  28. @kriskemp4952 on October 30, 2025 at 12:30 am

    You are just great

  29. @thomasackerman3995 on October 30, 2025 at 12:30 am

what would happen in the process if the material had a good amount of mercury and lots of pure copper, as well as gold?

  30. @MrGainey3420 on October 30, 2025 at 12:32 am

    @sreetips
I see you not holding back to much on the bleach sir and honestly I was shocked it took that much, could one add too much bleach and mess this process up?
If so, how could you fix the solution to recover gold in solution?
    Thanks, Ron.

  31. @PHUCKyoutube689 on October 30, 2025 at 12:32 am

This method would probably be more effective on smaller -20 mesh placer gold. More surface area. That gold looked pretty chunky but maybe it was the camera.

  32. @Caliopeleveron on October 30, 2025 at 12:32 am

My solution turned green.. what do I do?

Hello Sir, how are you? thanks for the video, we need to know the concentration of chlorine you used for the bleach. Thanks in advance. Have a nice day

  40. @user-ii6je9rd3d on October 30, 2025 at 12:48 am

Did you get enough gold to justify the purchase

  41. @fullinvestigation8233 on October 30, 2025 at 12:52 am

So I did this with 4.3 grams of flakes and flower gold. Now I got about 2.3 of that rock looking stuff. With how small the flakes are, do you think more gold could be inside those gray pieces? Not sure where the gold originated from either

  42. @ANTHONYWMITCHELL on October 30, 2025 at 12:53 am

I’m wondering if this would be a good way to extract powder gold from black sand

  43. @hamguer3653 on October 30, 2025 at 12:54 am

Intéressant cette démonstration merci Mr sreetips

  44. @veronika8287 on October 30, 2025 at 12:54 am

Is it necessary to do the last process where you have a hose connected to the beaker and a funnel with filter? I don’t have all that set up

  45. @BigGuy86ed on October 30, 2025 at 12:56 am

Potassium nitrate/ salt peter + carbon + sulfur = rough black powder. Act accordingly my friends…

  46. @uncle_thulhu on October 30, 2025 at 12:57 am

To be fair, KNO³ has its uses…🔥

  47. @marinoceccotti9155 on October 30, 2025 at 12:57 am

So it made the original placer gold about 8K. I’m surprised, I’d always had thought natural gold was pure.

  48. @spiderfireentmt on October 30, 2025 at 12:57 am

I really enjoy watching your videos they’re never long enough. I also appreciate your attention to detail in this video I enjoy seeing the outer part of your hood and some of your Workstation knowing that you wear a mask while melting I had Curiosities on your safety measures. Not something I would try myself but having a clear understanding on how it can be professionally done it’s quite educational thank you so much for such great videos.

Hello, I live in Australia and haven’t been able to find Stump Out anywhere. Can someone tell me if food grade SMB is suitable for precipitation in this process? Most forms are sold by brewery suppliers.
    Thanks for your time!
