So I just turned 21 one and not only did I JUST turn 21 I JUST NOW started drinking. Even I know there isn’t a vodka sold that is 90%. At that point it’s just ever clear with 5% more water
Wow everyone in this thread has ONE aspect of distilling down correctly and think they’re the expert. No it is not “future whiskey” in order for vodka to BECOME vodka the mash MUST become neutral (90%) and THEN diluted back down to 40. True whiskey is made from corn. It is clear until it is aged in a charred barrel then it becomes bourbon. Bourbon is never made from a blended mash. Always straight corn. Rye whiskey is made from purely rye. And then blended whiskeys need little to no explanation.

Sounds like a jack daniels wort recipe for whisky, why then turn it to a neutral spirit like vodka? Seems like a waste of good potential for barrel aged whisky
That’s shine ! Not vodka you need more schooling. Take it from someone who knows I’ve been a master distiller for decades. You can make vodka from. Grain but it takes just a little bit more work.
