My house only has a living room space for photos. No upstairs, no basement, very short hall with bedroom doors and no wall space. So the only place the people I love can enjoy it would be in the living room.
I can understand why someone wouldn’t want certain types of photos on display in areas like the living room. My wife for example has some photos of her in a rather diminutive bikini that were taken at a private pool so she puts those on the bedroom wall because it’s a more discreet location for sexy photos like that. I don’t really see a problem with general family photos being in the living room though personally.
Pictures go all through the house! ESPECIALLY in the living room! Not everyone has a basement, foyer, or family room. Most people put photos in the living room.

It depends on how you use your home: most Americans do not formally entertain and putting family photos in any room is ok. Your advice is only for a certain class of people and they already know the rules.
What about big square frames with very small opening in the mat, pictures are small and in black and white, like vintage style, how would that look in a living room with a credenza/sideboard cabinet?
We dont have basement and upstairs in flat system😂
They look good anywhere even in the bathroom❤
I think, one should put it wherever heck they want. I have it in my living room. We love it. Our guest seems to like it. 😊
All I have is a living room 😂 so that’s where they’ll go!
I have a livingroom and familyroom. Should I put the pictures in the familyroom? I am starting to set up a wall collage and need the right spot.
Get this where the people you really love got to enjoy it – in the basement 🥲
So this is bull, where do people put stuff without a hallway, without a upstairs?
We don’t live in a one size fit all world.
I’ll always have these in my living room
I couldn’t disagree more.

Exactly when this lady makes a video it’s not to look cute she knows what she’s talking about

Like everyone can afford a special place to put them. 😅
Self claimed expert 😂
Good point. 👍
She has another video showing how to do a gallery wall… on that wall.

My house is tiny.
