Two years ago, a neighbor gave me a walnut wood, which he cut down because it hadn’t yielded anything for many years.
The first products I made were cutting boards for New Year’s gifts.
Walnut wood has a really nice wood structure.
The dark inner part is harder and the light outer part is a softer wood.
The bark also retains nicely and does not fall off if the wood is dried properly.
