I love bob Ross and his paintings, I watch The joy of painting now on TV its so relaxing. But I don’t think I would want one on my wall

Bob is why I paint, It is so relaxing . It was so helpful with anxiety of dealing with the hustle and bustle of the world around us. This was a treat.

Don’t buy Bob Ross Products. His management team stole all the rights to his name. The family gets nothing. Just friendly info. 😊

  4. @billmiller2051 on April 4, 2025 at 6:53 am

After Van Gogh died they found one of his paintings being used to patch up a chicken fence.

I was lucky enough to see his art show in Penticton, BC during the depths of the pandemic. A day I’ll never forget! 👍🎨👍

Love the guy at the end who was expecting "hundred" but then heard "thousand" : D
Everyone tries to be circumspect, but it’s awesome to hear the genuine reaction!

  7. @penngwinn on April 4, 2025 at 7:04 am

So awesome. I didn’t think it was possible to get a Bob Ross original, but I guess that may be just from the show. $12 at a salvation army. Wild. and $5 at a quanza hut? Lucky find.

I never liked him. I thought he was a fruitcake. I prefer Helen VanWyk She was really really an excellent oil, painter. I would love to have one of her paintings you can keep Bob Ross are the painters I prefer the watercolor artist from Australia.

Bob Ross live streams are the best thing going on twitch site hands down

  12. @mclaine33 on April 4, 2025 at 7:12 am

Wow those have to be the rarest Bob Ross paintings I ever seen. Pre-tv show paintings are nearly unheard of. Very cool to see so many in the wild.

  13. @OGJasian on April 4, 2025 at 7:12 am

I am so confused, because I swear I watched NYT do a video saying that no Bob Ross paintings were available?

  14. @angelalooney22 on April 4, 2025 at 7:13 am

Bob Ross’s show was filmed in a small studio in Muncie Indiana. The woman who has the rights to Bob Ross is in virginia.

  15. @mannygarcia759 on April 4, 2025 at 7:13 am

It’s too bad Bob became popular and so cool after his death!

  16. @billhatcher2984 on April 4, 2025 at 7:15 am

I hope Bob is reaping the benefits of his art paying so much

  17. @ValleyoftheRogue on April 4, 2025 at 7:15 am

Never thought any of his paintings were available on the market. Those people have very nice paintings.

  18. @andrewsices on April 4, 2025 at 7:15 am

    That’s incredible.

  19. @ivorytower99 on April 4, 2025 at 7:20 am

Sorry Laura. But ‘The Joy of Painting’ did not start on PBS in 1984 with Ross; but earlier with Ross’ mentor, William Alexander – who had invented the ‘wet-on-wet’ painting technique.
In fact, I still have a William Alexander palette knife that my dad got me for my 10th Birthday.

  20. @joanholland3438 on April 4, 2025 at 7:20 am

I was just talking about Bob Ross and his white oils wet on wet paint! ❤I told her not to invest in any of the products on line cuz the reviews are not good! The people who sell his products actually stole the rights from Bob Ross’s son… ugh!

  21. @johnnyd386 on April 4, 2025 at 7:23 am

  22. @firebrothersreaction4773 on April 4, 2025 at 7:25 am

Let’s put a little cloud that lives right up here.

  23. @Marcel_Audubon on April 4, 2025 at 7:27 am

when do we get to stop pretending Bob Ross wasn’t a no talent lowbrow?

  24. @Lonewolfmike on April 4, 2025 at 7:39 am

I see a trip to Alaska in her future to look for her own Bob Ross painting(s).

  25. @nitwit4947 on April 4, 2025 at 7:41 am
