Use a chandelier in place of the semi flush fixture it comes with chain. screw a hook into the ceiling where you want the fixture to be

Don’t stress so much on your drywall. You’re looking at it bare. You won’t notice the small imperfections once you have paint and decorate. I had the same toenail surgery. It’s worth it to never have ingrowns again. I hope you heal fast.

Take care Mrs. Fred. Tile is so hard on your legs for any area where you will be spending a lot of time like the kitchen. Don’t know if it’s cost effective for you to add wood laminate flooring in the rest of the place and an area rug for the living room. Just my two cents from the peanut factory over here. 🙂
