Making DIY custom wind chimes with driftwood, glass, jewelry, stones & crystals!

People ask me how I make my unique wind chimes and I am sharing my process. In this video I show you how to make a driftwood base and use stones, crystals, agate and beads to make a beautiful piece!
I find cool driftwood, drill holes to make hangers for the chimes. I use beautiful objects and I show you how I string them together.
What I use: jewelry tools. – round nose, flat nose pliers, and wire nippers
20 gauge copper wire
driftwood, glass, jewelry, stones & crystals

On this channel I make lots of interesting things and show the process. I hope you’ll like the videos and subscribe for more! I try to make several videos a month as I work in my studio here in Modesto CA. thanks for watching!

Great video, Karen! Your voice is so calm and soothing, really enjoyable. Would you mind doing a video on how you put the hooks into the driftwood? That seems to be the part I’m having the most trouble with although I will admit my driftwood is a bit more thin than I thought so I’m worried about drilling into it too much and cracking it all

Hi…just one question…are those little eye screws that you attach to the driftwood to hold the chains?

Great video! Thank you Karen. I found some beautiful pieces of dry Juniper on a visit to friends in Arizona and I want to make some chimes with them, so coming across this video now was perfect timing. I have a question for you. Do you clean or bleach the wood before using it?
