I doubt that there was 900°C
what clay do you use?
Did it get hot enough to vitrify the pices?
Omg I bet this was a smoke fest. I’d get the law called trying this in my city my neighbors suck
But how do you fire them to cone? We have digitized, computerized kilns and even with that, firings are uncertain.
Just what I needed, thank you so much ❤
Very nice! Are you just stacking bricks? No mortar between them? Can you share the dimensions and let us know how much sawdust you needed? Thank you.
Are the pieces vitrified?
Thankyou simple and easy idea,
Nice
So, how do you do this without scaring the hell out of your neighbors?
So easy to set up anywhere, thanks! What temperature do you think this reached?
Really simple and cool ❤❤❤
Will they all turn black?
How to use in plate’s and dish, don’t any mark,
❤ how many pieces of stone do you used?
Wow! Beautiful ❤ are you using wood dust?
Simple (-: Did you put any dark underglaze on at all or slip burnished pots? It’s a lovely sheen black.❤
Are these able to be used as functional pieces or say I made a plate and fired it, is it safe to eat off of?
Can you buy sawdust?
The metal mesh was on top of the objects while building it, at the end of the video it was below them (which probably makes more sense). I assume it was two different ones, but this was not shown earlier.
Nice pieces. So cool – one day I’ll do fun stuff like this.
Were these greenware, or already bisque fired?
