Thanks AP. I buy American made if I can afford it. I’ve bought many SAS shoes…super comfortable, half a dozen Coleman burners, besides kerosene lamps, wicks, globes for replacement, coolers, Stanley thermos’, tools, and other exceptionally high quality things. Americans take pride in our workmanship. Sometimes I have to go with the cheaper junky stuff but I will try harder than ever to buy things made in our country. How else can we build it up again? I really appreciate this video. Top notch!👵😊🇺🇸🙏💖

  2. @loisfromohio3109 on July 7, 2025 at 5:13 pm

SAS shoes are made in Texas. They are expensive but very good, will last for many years

New Balance makes some of their shoes in the US if you can afford the starting price of around $185.00. Otherwise, their shoes that are affordable are made in Asia.

Bicycles are part of our prepping. If no fuel is available a good bike can be much better than walking.

  11. @NeKisha_in_Maine on July 7, 2025 at 5:22 pm

New Balance sneakers are made just up the way from me. Love Maine!!

  12. @paulcat8816 on July 7, 2025 at 5:23 pm

Weinbrenner Shoe Company, makes good boots and shoes and life time warrentee here in Marshfield Wisconsin, they also me military boots for the federal government and you can buy them also,

  13. @jenniferlara5134 on July 7, 2025 at 5:23 pm

Big 5 sells New Balance brand for a good price. 😁

  14. @laurapollreisz491 on July 7, 2025 at 5:23 pm

I’ve worn New Balance for years and they are comfortable, well made, supportive and also come in wide widths. I actually pay $35 to $50 for them at Bi Mart in the Pacific Northwest. You passed up Guitars, musical instruments might be good for morale and baseball bats can be used as weapons even without nails and again morale if you have baseballs and seems like crayons can be used for firestarters too. Lots of less expensive rv’s made in US too. and lots of these more expensive items look to be better quality, also shop around for a better price. Oh yeah and the bike for transportation.

  15. @rakamas on July 7, 2025 at 5:27 pm

I still have that same Weber grill from the ’90s 👍😄❤️

  16. @camilion5399 on July 7, 2025 at 5:29 pm

Apparently those crayons make good emergency candles. I read they can burn for up to 30 minutes.

  17. @sandilindemuth121 on July 7, 2025 at 5:31 pm

Can anyone tell me where you can find wicks for making candle’s

I buy my new balance shoes 👟 from Macy on sale every time only paying 50 to 60 dollars so worth it l have never payed more then 65 for good sneakers, Dr Bronner’s Soap is one of the best out there for your body but quite pricey l found a cheaper soap just as good at Trader Joe’s l keep 20 bars at a time 😊 Thank you AP

  20. @heartofdixieprepping4797 on July 7, 2025 at 5:34 pm

You can melt broken crayons down and put them in little molds for a new crayon.. and they burn well.

  21. @grumpyoldphart7325 on July 7, 2025 at 5:35 pm

    SAS shoes are remarkable!

  22. @holly1391 on July 7, 2025 at 5:37 pm

    I love my Weber grill👍🏼💖

  23. @altnewser6484 on July 7, 2025 at 5:37 pm

…and that was the reason given when I was a child…..they said, "Manufacturing overseas will make items affordable here" and many were not happy with that fearing we would lose jobs and become a less self-sufficient nation with a growing need and dependence on foreign countries. That prediction was shortsighted considering life today, as if that wasn’t bad enough. jmo.

Wiggy’s makes the best sleep system I have ever used..

  25. @marytica123 on July 7, 2025 at 5:39 pm

GUNS & AMMO – and not all of them ! Some of the few things preppers NEED that are still made in the USA.

  26. @josephheavener56 on July 7, 2025 at 5:40 pm

When I used to work in textiles, we used to have a booklet of items that were not only made in the USA but the company’s were also based in America and the money made from the product stayed in the states. Some products are made in America but are profiting company’s outside the USA

  27. @theresalogsdon765 on July 7, 2025 at 5:41 pm

I get my cots from Walmart.not near that expensive. I think.$45 and up. Mine was $75.99 from Walmart

  28. @erickdurnell6178 on July 7, 2025 at 5:41 pm

Dr Bronners is good stuff. It’s good for kids and sensitive skin and if you’re having to bathe in a river or lake it won’t hurt the fish. I always have some!

  29. @adamh3332 on July 7, 2025 at 5:45 pm

  36. @kaylind5227 on July 7, 2025 at 5:54 pm

I’ll pay extra for my made in the USA Red Wings. Have one pair that’s been resoled, 10 years old. I pair that’s still holding up after 5 years of everyday work, and one pair of dress/church shoes that are 18 years old. Just clean and oil all of them regularly. I’d think they’re worth the extra money.

Yes Rudy grab some Dr Bronners soap! Love it 😍

  40. @ArtemisDarkling on July 7, 2025 at 5:55 pm

It can be so hard to find things. I was looking for measuring cups that were metal not plastic. I spent hours and hours trying to find some. Half the time you have to really dig or even contact the Company to get an answer about where it was made.

  43. @debiscooking9770 on July 7, 2025 at 5:58 pm

You should always try to support a US company first!! Even if it does cost a couple of dollars more. Would you rather give China your money? I think not. Certainly not me!! Try to look for the made in the USA symbol on the boxes! Yes, some things are price prohibitive of many things or not.

  44. @lucydiazcolon734 on July 7, 2025 at 5:58 pm

New Balance are made for the feet not looks. Foot doctors told my mom to buy them. There are some much cheaper. 40 bucks 50

  45. @adamh3332 on July 7, 2025 at 5:59 pm

Blessings AP & everyone! Thanks for doing this video Rudy! We love all the info you share with us all! You always have our backs! I think I’ll get a pair of those shoes for my hubby, as he’s on his feet all day at work. He’s 70 years young & still out works his co workers! Thanks again AP! God’s blessings to all!

  48. @s.coloradosteader8097 on July 7, 2025 at 6:03 pm

I always try to buy US products when the price is comparable and the quality is superior. Unfortunately like Rudy said not all components are made in the US. It could be as small as a screws and bolts for an item.

  49. @loisfromohio3109 on July 7, 2025 at 6:04 pm

    Keen are excellent shoes

  50. @paulcat8816 on July 7, 2025 at 6:06 pm

Danner is a bran name shoe and boots that are American made and if they need fixing just send it to them and they will fix them and send them back so its like life time warrentee so its worth the extra money you pay for them.
