VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
Crystal is an amazing woman who decided to build a tiny home in the “middle of nowhere Alaska”. She likes alone time, so living alone in Alaska did not feel intimidating to her. She loves tiny living because it means less time cleaning, storing stuff and taking care of a large home. Now she gets to enjoy her hobbies. She’s added onto her tiny over the years and most recently has been working on a loft space, which is A-frame shaped and beautiful. She was also incredibly passionate about using as many reclaimed materials as possible and has done a beautiful job making the space her home. Amazing Crystal!

reality hits in when you get sick and get older. I love it but honestly I couldn’t live like that. This is only for the young
I’ve lived off grid in Trapper Creek Alaska for 22 years now and I built a tiny cabin here. I ordered cheap solar panels from Harbor Freight and now I can get internet access. I pounded my shallow well 17 years ago and I pounded it down straight under my cabin instead of in the yard so I didn’t have to worry about it freezing up. Insulating the skirting keeps it warm enough down there. Just 4 years ago I put my own septic tank system!!! It was easy and cheap. I learned how to do it by watching a YouTube Channel!!!✌🏻❤😊
Love the loft. When it’s finished it will look great.
A lot doesn’t add up with this presentation.
Cat.
Yeah.
Funny authentic Crystal.
When you get your cat that you say you make it, here’s how you make cat sweaters. Use the sleeves from your thrifted sweaters and sweatshirts as the cat sweaters making arm holes close together and the wrist part as the collar for the cat and fold it down you can put a few of these on your cat. And can even use the sleeves from a windbreaker as a middle layer to ensure your cat is really warm and can safely go outside but with a cat in those areas you definitely want to be aware of prey Birds carrying your cat away, horrible I know but better be warned than not. And you can make use of the bodice part of the thrifted sweaters and sweatshirts by creating layers for yourself underneath your own clothes and jackets.
Only to be expected from an adventurer who has traveled the world to settle down in Alaska, good thing you’re doing it while you’re young.
Do you have a YouTube channel we can follow?
Love the house.
Beautifully done. I love her home. And I would definitely be her friend. I’m totally an introvert
Me thinks she’s had a few of those drinks in her hand .
a little drink before we start filming? sure
I have always admired Alaskan women. When it comes to designing remote living situations, I have always been blown away by their homesteads!
Really good tips for my wife and me. You explain things well.
She has NO insulation under her roof, I hope she changed that before the winter set in; and I hope she vented the wood stove flue to the outside!
Cute place. No water for me maybe a problem. However I see how it’s evolved! Great job.
I love your home in Alaska. Ya know, from one introvert to another:. You’d love a cat. Another living being. If you use pine pellet (40#, 6.00,tractor supply, made for equine) you could throw it down the latrine or a special spot in the woods.
I fell in love with your tiny house.
You’ve done an amazing job!
Thank you for sharing!❤️
My first husband and I lived at fort Wainwright Alaska in 1973 he went there on the longest day of the year and had a wonderful time honeymooning for a year and a half and then unfortunately I had to return to Florida to take care of my mom I love Alaska and I often thought of going back but now my body will not allow me but I love watching things about Alaska and I just remember it so finally living there I am the you totally
“Washing hands every now and than.” That answered so many questions I had about tiny home living.
Are you afraid of bears while you’re on the loo?
Thanks for sharing!
This video was brought to you by: "BON Seltzer sugar free drink" LOL!
Your tiny home is adorable.
She said she lives alone but she keeps saying we!
Can you help me out with what kind of money is envalved in the first tiny house?
Favourite pserson and place….EVER!!! (after seeing these all over You tube for about 8 years First place I can say I would live here. All SO lovely. ❤
I love the shape of ur tiny home it’s large the design is perfect I’m a thrift store person to u can find so many things love the colors of ur home ty for the tour and info good luck stay safe
Great work and great ideas. From experience, my only suggestion is that you insulate that 2nd floor ceiling. Not just for efficiency but for sound. An uninsulated metal roof makes it sound like a hurricane every time it is sprinkling outside. But if that doesn’t bother you, no worries!
I love her. What a hoot. Like the house, too, BTW….
You have a very cute little home!
That’s a lot of booze for one woman… but I guess – what else is there to do
this is a dream
Great video Crystal
get a bobcat as a pet!
Start feeding the wildlife – leaving water out for them, too.
I live in Florida and never in a million years would I think cold ass Alaska would have mosquitoes hahaha
Amazing! I hope that your still happy there.
ok, it’s all really nice, but how do you scare away the bears lurking around the outhouse at night? 😂
Loved the tour of your house- the roof pitch makes it look so cute
I love her tiny home!
You did a great job! presenting and your place is awesome! I LOVE the fact that you repurposed 90% of you tiny home and a great job on that! Love it!
OMG Crystal❤U! you are so adorable touring your tiny house holding your thermos. "The air fryer is the appliance of 2021, if you don’t have you need to get yourself one." Priceless ❤
Her home is so cute!
Such a sweet young lady.
I love your tiny home!
Where is your washer and dryer?
Are you going to build a small closet in your bedroom?
Yes you should get a cat it would be a great comfort for you.
Living this far out would you be getting some chickens for eggs and chickens for meat because you live so far away from a grocery store
Do you have a garden and a herb garden?
Do you grow sunflowers and dry the seeds so you can get them?
If you do these things I would like to see another video plus when your house is finished please do a video.
Clorox wipes are not environmentally friendly – not for your or the planet!
Wonder what she does for a living? Do you insulate the attic space? Looks like you can see daylight coming through.
Such a beautiful home. I love the loft area.
Beautiful tiny home Crystal
This home is so cozy and nice. I love it, you did an amazing job ❤
very inspiring
The no water situation is not ok for me that’s for sure
