Can you spare quarters for this?

  4. @louisianalady7105 on June 19, 2025 at 3:55 pm

I bought this pattern over a year ago. I was terrified to sew this, because I didn’t understand how to sew the pieces together. This tutorial has greatly enhanced my understanding and confidence. I am going to make this for my son by using sone very masculine fabric selections.

Thank you! Alaska! What a lovely design!

  5. @sgmilo on June 19, 2025 at 3:55 pm

Thank you for the great video, Edyta! I love your designs and grateful for your tips! I am going to be making the Alaska quilt next as a wedding present for my sister! Can’t wait!

Where can I go to order this Alaska precut kit?

  8. @jaynesperzel5085 on June 19, 2025 at 3:56 pm

I love the quilt! You talked about the extra block border when you demonstrated block 2. Is there fabric or precuts available for this?
    Thank you!

  11. @lettymathews on June 19, 2025 at 4:00 pm

Anyone ever figure out the fabric requirement for the extra 32 of block #2. It would be so helpful if that had been added to our pattern!

  12. @debihaupt6477 on June 19, 2025 at 4:00 pm

Love this quilt and the idea you provided to make it larger. I hope you provide more precut kits. I like the idea of jumping right to sewing.

  15. @ASKShannonA on June 19, 2025 at 4:03 pm

I love your teaching style Edyta. The matching box that holds the kit is a really cute extra touch.

How much additional fabric do I need to purchase to make the Block 2 border. Thank you!

  21. @ConniePeck1957 on June 19, 2025 at 4:06 pm

I have the pattern with the 23 different colorways. Is there a way to purchase the cutting instructions for the 6 colorway quilt? I just can’t figure out which pieces to change for just blues or greens. Help! And I just love this pattern!

  22. @andreabrown3172 on June 19, 2025 at 4:06 pm

Can you still buy this kit?

  23. @ritapoon5809 on June 19, 2025 at 4:07 pm

Good morning, can you show me how to make the pillow that you put on your picture of your bedspread. Thanks

  24. @suebean3873 on June 19, 2025 at 4:08 pm

Just a quick question: In the first block you show us, I’m not sure what marking the top of each piece does, cuz we can’t see what is underneath?? She doesn’t match it to anything underneath. TY

  25. @shirleyhagan9002 on June 19, 2025 at 4:09 pm

I received my Alaska Kit today!!

  26. @primrosebohne7857 on June 19, 2025 at 4:10 pm

Love listening to Edyta! She teaches so well and clearly, with a quaint way of expressing herself!

  27. @kupton52 on June 19, 2025 at 4:12 pm

I’m very excited! My pattern and templates arrived today from Laundry Basket Quilts and I’m gathering my fabrics I want to use. I do plan on making the additional 32 blocks to add a border to the quilt. Are there any fabric requirements anywhere for adding the additional blocks to make a border. I want to be sure to have enough fabric before I start cutting. Thanks…this is a gorgeous quilt and I can hardly wait to start in sewing. Your video was very instructional.

  28. @suebean3873 on June 19, 2025 at 4:12 pm

I was wondering why we can’t find any of the sites mentioned here for any of the products anymore. TY

  29. @LACox08 on June 19, 2025 at 4:13 pm

Do I need to purchase the templates if I already have the Alaska Creative Grids ruler?

  30. @lynnpeterson618 on June 19, 2025 at 4:16 pm

I just purchased this pattern and the acrylic templates. Love the blue and cream colours. That’s my choice of fabric! So nice to have a tutorial! Thank you.

  35. @lavonnebullinger5726 on June 19, 2025 at 4:26 pm

I started sewing this quilt but have a problem, my half blocks have a bowl/round affect then when I sew the 2 half’s to gather it has a bowl , does not lay flat, can you tell be what I am doing wrong!

  36. @christinadesselle6444 on June 19, 2025 at 4:27 pm

To make this larger does it take extra 82 blocks of block # 2? Will this make this quilt a king size. You are very clear on instructions even for a beginner. Love this pattern I think it will be so beautiful with Batik Fabrics

  37. @vaughnthompson9468 on June 19, 2025 at 4:29 pm

Do you need both the Alaska quilt ruler and the templates or just the ruler OR templates?

  38. @TinekeWilliams on June 19, 2025 at 4:32 pm

Can I still order the quilt? I am in New Zealand, where are you?

  39. @dermotanddianacurtis4161 on June 19, 2025 at 4:33 pm

Oh my goodness! I just found this tutorial! I bought this pattern, Alaska Magic, a few months ago from North Beach Quilting, but the pattern seemed a bit intimidating. You made it look easy. Thank you!

  43. @MarciaBaker1205 on June 19, 2025 at 4:36 pm
