Is it possible to go plastic-free in Alaska? | INDIE ALASKA

Jennifer Gordon sailed from Seldovia, AK to Mexico on a huge adventure with her family several years ago. Along their journey, she noticed how much plastic waste contaminated the ocean and sea shores. She and her family took it upon themselves to pick up plastic waste throughout their trip and made it a mission to live a minimal waste lifestyle. Gordon continues on her passion by co-founding Blue Market AK, a local refillery store that hopes to reduce plastic wastes by reusing and repurposing plastics and glassware.

Decades ago old newspapers were used for 🥬🧅🍏. Long-distance skaters used it under their clothing etc..

I love this channel and this is such a great shop that she started. It’s a great easy way for people to transition into less waste.
