The Art of Carving Totems – Klawock, Alaska – Episode 1

North of Hope was able to build a new Carving Shed for the village of Klawock. This has become a classroom where many totems will be carved over the coming years. Some will be original works of art, others will be copies so that the work of past generations will not be lost.

Each of these totems will be erected in the new Totem Park, which will be profiled in Episode 2.
