Love the idea of how it’s inexpensive and biodegradable. Thank you! Question: I heard that with seedlings, you’re not suppose to have the dirt packed because the seed needs space to grow it’s roots and that’s why having loose soil works better than packed? Any thoughts based on your experience?

Thank you! I am frugal so this is a great cheap method. I used your ziplock bag germinating method with sweet pepper seeds. Subscribed to ya man love the videos!

Really loved this video. Thank you for not editing out the tube that was too tight. It made the video more "real". Now I know what it looks like if I make that mistake. I love that this is something the kids can do too! Subscribed and shared on FB!

Lol!! That is 👍 great! Seeing as a lot of us have some extra time on our hands. 👩🏼‍🌾 And most of us gardeners are ready to get our seeds going!! Especially in the northern part of the country where seed starting is a Good plan ideally to insure a strong 💪🏾 start for 🌱 seedlings when it’s safe to plant outdoors in spring 🌷🌞 And virtually a small amount of TP is used when it’s at a premium right now!! 😂Thanks for sharing this. DIY Seed pod starters!! 👏 good job 👍 my friend.🌻

Thank you! Great idea, great video showing how to do it!

  21. @estiklugman2166 on May 2, 2025 at 11:31 am

Thanks for the tutorial. Just a couple questions- do you use these cups to keep the plants inside for longer once they germinate or do you only use them for transferring from the bags to the ground? I’m just concerned that when they get wet, they’ll fall apart and then won’t transfer well to the ground. We’re looking for something to hold our plants inside for another week or two after they germinate in the bags.
